A Call to India
By Julie Casamonti
Directed by Josh Hightower
October 2nd - 4th
A play with human rain, and phones that never get picked up. Two sisters in their twenties try to rebalance their lives after their mother's sudden flee to India. Looking to find purpose and identity, Jen and Mailey embark on distinct but parallel journeys to their own final “call”. Jen dipping her fingers in poetry writes rain that comes to life, Mailey on the other hand discovers her sexuality. The audience is lucky to meet the secondary characters of their lives including a woman of seduction, a delusional ex boyfriend, and a handyman, not always so handy. The audience will have the chance to experience a personification of rain as an ensemble of five actors. Big words, pretty fights and a thin 4th wall.

Machinal
By Sophie Tredwell
Directed by Sophia Gayoso-Nordling
November 12-14
Sophie Treadwell’s Machinal is a groundbreaking 1928 expressionist play inspired by the real-life trial of Ruth Snyder. Told through nine episodic scenes, her journey captures the suffocating pressures of a capitalist, patriarchal society—from an unwanted marriage and motherhood to a brief, liberating affair. With poetic dialogue and bold theatrical techniques, Machinal explores themes of gender, conformity, and repression, remaining a timeless and haunting portrayal of a woman crushed by the machinery of modern life.
